I just received this watch today after waiting over 6 months for it's arrival. I had tried not to have too high of expectations considering the price and was considering this to be a fun, weekend watch. The photos on Oceanic Time on Facebook of an early prototype looked very good however. I must say I am very pleasantly surprised. This watch has a very solid, quality feel to it. The case is exceptionally well made and the detail on the dial is excellent!. The hour markers are applied indices and look as good as those on any $1000 - $5000 watch. The silicone strap ( i am not a big fan of silicone and would have preferred a higher quality natural rubber) is much nicer than i expected. The crown, winding and setting have a nice, smooth feel and it is apparent that there is a very nice movement inside ( the Seiko was a very good choice IMHO). My only minor complaint ( and maybe it will grow on me later ) is the shiny,metallic,aluminum look on the yellow part of the rotating bezel. I would have preferred a flatter, less glossy look to go with the dial's appearance. All in all I am very happy with this purchase and feel like this watch presents itself as much more expensive looking than it is. Vostok Europe seem to be continuing to raise the quality level and value of their products and i would hope to see more watches like this from them in the future. Certainly I wouldn't mind seeing something in a dive watch one level up from this from them in the $1500 retail range with a better strap,possibly titanium, 300 meter plus rating and maybe power reserve feature. For the price, this is a heck of a watch!
