I have been wearing this watch as my daily wrist companion for 3 months. There was an initial break-in period. The mechanism was a bit stiff at first and I wasn't getting the full reserve time, but after a few weeks of use it now winds and runs perfectly. No doubt a combination of being too timid winding (this being my first mechanical watch) as well as factory newness. I love the 24 hour dial. Working with computers for a living it is extremely convenient for time zone conversions. The city listings with their GMT offsets makes it easy to calculate what time it is in other parts of the world where people I am collaborating with are. And I love the anachronism of someone like me using a manual analog watch.
