This is a very impressive watch overall and a worthy commemoration of Gagarin's heroic feat. Classic case size of 44mm with the accurate and reliable 3133 chrono movement and high quality execution throughout. The real story for me is the artistry of the dial treatment; nice contrast of red markers on top of silver with honeycomb in the center subtly revealing the movement underneath. I particularly like the balance between the sub-dials at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions and the enamel earth (as seen from space) at 6 o'clock. Just beautiful! The skeleton hands in red maintain a nice artistic balance, as do the touches of red on the two crowns. The crown on the left controls the rotating inner bezel and screws down to lock it into position. Nice feature. Finishing touches on this collectible include Gagarin's name embossed on the silicon strap as well as his space-helmeted head laser etched on the back of the case. I was only 9 when Gagarin orbited the earth but remember it as a magical event. This watch brings it all back for me. If you can get one of these (mine is #250/400), do. You will not regret it!
