Passionate about Aviation? Our Aviator line has a long history of military aviation use. Aviation wristwatches were made at the First Watch Factory (then the FWF and now Poljot/Volmax) by request of the Soviet Union Central Air Force Administration since 1932. Equipping the Soviet and Russian military through World War II into today, the timepieces in this line are made to reflect thier military heritage. Large figures, hands and signs are coated with the special luminescent coating, allowing pilots to operate in the dark. Many watches are complicated, equipped with a chronograph movements, military time zone scale and a tachymeter to measure the speed of travel.
