I've had this watch for several months now and use it as my daily watch. Due to my backpacking, I wanted a mechanical wind watch so I would not need to worry about a battery quitting on me when out in the backcountry. OVERALL: This is an excellent watch. I wanted a mechanical watch of high quality after years of cheap, junky quartz watches (they have their place, but not as a higher end watch) whose batteries would quit at inconvenient times. It keeps time very accurately - I adjust it about once a week for being off a minute from my "atomic clock". MINUSES: The start/stop button on they tachymeter is not as smooth as I'd like, and took a little getting used to when starting the run time. Manual stopwatches I've used had a better feel. Also, the dial for the 30 min run indicator is not marked as clear as I'd like; the 5 min marks aren't much longer than the other minute marks, and you have to look pretty close to figure out how many minutes have elapsed. If they were longer it would be better. On occasion of heavy work (such as swinging a hand tool), the watch strap has separated from the body. Somehow the spring gets pulled so the pin releases from the watch body. I figure this is due to the mass of the watch, and I remove it now if I have to swing my arm. PLUSES: Looks great, comfortable to wear (this is the largest watch I've owned, and after some time I've gotten used to the size). Keeps very accurate time. Handy to have the tachymeter function and stopwatch. I have gotten compliments on the styling from friends who are also watch-liking people. BOTTOM LINE: I like it, and would recommend it to anyone who likes the styling and wants a manual wind watch.
